This week, it's time for addictive cookies, substantial breakfasts and copious chicken dinners! Here's what's dishing on the blogs we follow:

How about we jump straight to the tasty cookie topic! Katy baked sweet and chewy Pumpkin Pudding Cookies in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen; the Brown Eyed Baker threw in everything but the kitchen sink to make delicious Compost Cookies; and Liz from Stiller Snacks created uniquely chocolaty Ryan Clark Bars. Simply put, they are all homemade, addictive and seasonal!

Still on the sweet side, I made light and soft Romanian-style Apple Pancakes at Simply Romanesco. They are sweet, loaded with crisp pieces of apples and wonderful for dessert... or breakfast.

On the other hand, Leah from Brazen Kitchen whipped up a savory breakfast consisting of Creamy Grits with Quinoa and Greens. That's undeniably the new breakfast of champions!

On the dinner menu, Chef Chuck shared a yummy Pan Seared Chicken with Honey and Figs recipe on his newly entitled Cooks and Eats blog, while Linda from Dinner Plan-it enjoyed an Autumn Pot Roasted Lemon, Fennel and Garlic Chicken for a simple yet scrumptious dinner!

Lastly, on the Pittsburgh restaurant scene, Yum Yum dined at Park Bruges, the girls from eatPGH loved the meatloaf at Avenue B, and D&T: in the burgh took part in a special event called "Wigle's Expedition". Mark Twain was right indeed: "Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough."

See you here next week!
