What’s dishing on the blogs: Porky and beefy goodness!

This week, it's all about glorious pork and beef dishes and everything in between! Here's what's dishing on the blogs we follow:

On the pork menu, Culinary Cory was debating on what to make for dinner and opted for a rich and hearty Grilled Pork Pizza with Peppers & Onions, which turned out to be a wonderful meal, indeed!

To continue with the pork theme, Linda from Dinner Plan-it wanted some campfire goodness and prepared The Cowboy and the Dude Coffee-Rubbed Smoked Babybacks (Oven-style!), whereas Nicole from Yum Yum went for a comforting Dirty Risotto, Revisited and Improved with Ricci's Sausage. Delicious is an understatement!

On the beef menu, Katy revisited her favorite Beef and Butternut Squash Stew in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen, and Liz from Stiller Snacks celebrated the Steelers' win against the Ravens with Yancey Thigpens in a Blanket. Successful recipes to push our team ahead!

Finally, on the Restaurant scene, Yum Yum made it back to The Porch at Schenley; Kathy from Chew me! recapped her eating adventures in Phoenix; the girls from eatPGH gobbled down meaty burgers at Benjamin's Western Avenue Burger Bar; while Eat Street announced that the city's first Pierogi Festival will take place on Oct. 26 in South Shore Riverfront Park, where attendees will be able to try new and old takes on the popular stuffed dumplings and weigh in on their favorites for the People's Choice contest!
