At Simply Romanesco, I paired my favorite cheese with bright berries and baked a wonderful Goat Cheese Cake with Berries. It's rich yet airy, sweet and smooth, and comes together in less than an hour!
Leah from Brazen Kitchen made a beautiful Quick and Rustic Peach Tart. A brilliantly nutty tart crust covered with juicy, plump peaches. Simple and satisfying!
In the cupcakes department, Liz from Stiller Snacks introduced us to Jack Peanut Butler and Jelly Cupcakes, while the Brown Eyed Baker shared with us the Ultimate Chocolate Cupcakes. Buttery, chocolatey goodness!
Linda from Dinner Plan-it felt crabby and prepared fabulous Crab Deviled Eggs, Baltimore Style, and Katy fixed a vibrant Tomato Zucchini Gazpacho in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen. Savory and sensational!
Finally, on the Pittsburgh Hot Plate, Chef Chuck visited Angelo's; D&T: in the burgh went to Spoon; Kathy and Alex from Chew me! dined at Industry Public House and Tender; and Nicole from Yum Yum ventured to Dinette and also to Lidia's. A busy week on the restaurant scene!
