StrawberryTart

This week, it's all about fruit tarts, finger food, and seafood-packed soups! Here's what's dishing on the blogs we follow:

Jumping straight to dessert, check out Culinary Cory's bright Strawberry Tart and Yum Yum's favorite Fruit Tart. Both options are beautiful, bursting with flavor and take full advantage of summer's fresh fruits!

If you're in the mood for finger food, Liz from Stiller Snacks introduced us to a boozy Iron City Lager Veggie Dip and crunchy Sweet Ike Taylor Tots with Spicy Heinz Dip, clear winners for the game day. Caroline from the G Spot Revolution hit the spot with a gluten-free Greek Pasta Salad with Tzatziki Dressing, while Linda from Dinner Plan-it grilled smoky Red Hot Brats.

On the soup menu, Katy prepared a sweet and spicy Bacon, Corn & Shrimp Chowder in her BakingDomesticityandAllThingsMini kitchen, and the Brown Eyed Baker whipped up a quick and easy Crab Bisque. These seafood-packed soups are summer's new favorites!

Finally, the Pittsburgh restaurant scene is booming during Restaurant Week! The girls from eatPGH paid a visit to the popular Salt of the Earth; Nicole from Yum Yum lunched at Bistro 19; and D&T: in the burgh dined at James Street Gastropub & Speakeasy. And don't forget: if you want to explore new restaurants and special dining deals, Pittsburgh Restaurant Week is the time to do it!

See you here next week!
