This week's reviews: Ramen Bar, Girasole

This week, Munch takes a look at Squirrel Hill's Ramen Bar, one of a handful of restaurants to offer this soup in the past few months. Ramen Bar recently opened for lunch service, starting at noon every day.

The restaurant also delivers to Squirrel Hill, Oakland, Shadyside, Greenfield, Regent Square and Swissvale. According to an employee, they would consider Downtown delivery, depending on the size of the order.

Over here, I reviewed Girasole in Shadyside at the suggestion of a handful of readers and colleagues. I was curious as to what makes the restaurant so memorable and found myself charmed by the Gerasole family. Vito has put together one of my favorite wine lists I've perused in Pittsburgh so far. The photo displays mussels and Pernod from my most recent dinner there.
