Ilario's Trattoria to open in Bloomfield
Ilario's Trattoria and Vino's Pub will open at 4744 Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield in what had been D'Amico's Place. Ilario Simonetta is the proprietor who is overseeing the build-out. He took over the space in October.
Mr. Simonetta said he hopes to open on Dec. 17 at 11 a.m.
Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Vino's Pub will serve alcohol until 2 a.m.
Mr. Simonetta is a first-generation Italian-American. He recruited a chef from Naples to cook Neapolitan standards, including house-made pasta and pizza from an EarthStone oven.
