Here’s what’s dishing this week on the blogs we follow:

I’m celebrating the launch of The Forks blog with a Romanian-style Apple Pie at Simply Romanesco. We’re in the midst of apple season and baking apples seems to be the most natural thing to do.

Michelle, the Brown Eyed Baker, is seriously getting ready for Thanksgiving with Cloverleaf Dinner Rolls, delicious Bacon and Mushroom Potato Gratin, and an extensive list of Thanksgiving-worthy recipes to get your holiday menu started. Pretty impressive!

Chef Chuck serves us decadent Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookies with Walnuts on the Pittsburgh Hot Plate, just in time for cookie season.

Culinary Cory made some tasty Stuffed Cabbage Rolls.

And Laura from eatPGH tried out the new El Burro taqueria on the North Side and fell in love with the tacos and carne asada fries. I’ll have to check this place out!

See you here next week.
