This week's food and flavor: Smoked meats

Kielbasa, bacon and the smell of fire is in the food section this week, with Dan Gigler's terrific article on Allegheny City Smokehouse. "I started thinking about the barbecue smokehouses from when we worked down South, but I also thought of kielbasa because we're in Western Pennsylvania," Jared Lordon. "It was like the sun shown down on me and I thought, 'Let's go with it.' "
