Fukuda starts ramen lunch tomorrow
Tomorrow, Fukuda at 4770 Liberty Ave. in Bloomfield will begin lunch service, during which chef Matt Kemp and proprietor Hoon Kim will offer three types of ramen. In addition to porky tonkotsu ramen ($7.50) which the restaurant has featured since opening this fall, it will sell fish or fish broth variations from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
Sencha green tea and grilled edamame also will be available during lunch.
Fukuda was recently reviewed by Munch, which followed with an amusing parody of the column just before the end of the year.
