Ina Garten is coming (back) to Pittsburgh

The Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten, is coming back to Pittsburgh.

We just got the news Sunday night, but apparently tickets went on sale Friday for her appearance at the Benedum Center, Downtown, at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.

The cookbook author and Food Network star was just here June 1 for "The Hamptons in the Heights" fundraiser (that's her there, above, with her husband, Jeffrey).

Tickets are $45 and $55 plus service charges (always) at, by calling 412-456-6666, and at the Box Office at Theater Square.
The release for the event says, "Ina Garten shares her natural approach to food; sharing tips, stories, and maybe even some recipes."

"Barefoot Contessa," the title of her Food Network show, originally was the name of a store she opened in the Hamptons in 1978. She sold it to start working on her best-selling cookbooks. The next one, “Barefoot Contessa Foolproof: Recipes You Can Trust," also is coming out in October.
