We know. It's kind of dreary out there. You're probably sick of being stuck in the house when you'd much rather be outside playing.

Neighbors in the Strip has a solution for those winter-time blues.

On Sun., Feb. 24, the community group is holding its annual Hip Strip Cabin Fever Trip to introduce people to some of the Strip's newest businesses, as well as reaquaint them to old favorites.

The trip starts at 10:30 a.m. with a tour of The Priory Hotel in the North Side's historic Deutschtown neighborhood, after which trippers will enjoy a European-style brunch. After a short ride across the Allegheny River on Molly's Trolley, the group then will be deposited in the Strip.

Along with food or wine samplings at R Wine Cellar, Pittsburgh Winery and Marty's Market, tour-goers will get shopping time (plus samples and specials) at the Shops on the Edge, a group of neighboring stores near the intersection of 21st Street and Penn Avenue. Stops include Collage, Roxanne's, Loom, Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop and Hot, Haute, Hot

Also included is a tour of Lot 24, a swanky new 96-unit apartment building at 2404 Railroad St., adjacent to The Cork Factory lofts. It wraps up at 3 p.m. with a glass of wine in The Priory's Monk's Bar.

Tickets cost $35. For reservations, call 412-201-4291.
