Tomorrow's Groundhog Day, and the folks at Harris Grilland Shiloh Grill are celebrating in a pretty cool way.

Tonight at 7 p.m., the sister restaurants are hosting Hoggapalooza, a Groundhog Day's Eve party.

Along with $3 glasses of Woodchuck Hard Cider, the outdoor events each will feature an ice bar with take-it-to-the-head "luge" shots of Absolute Vodka. Never had the pleasure? That's where the alcohol is poured down a track carved into a giant block of ice (picture the Olympic sport) and directly into the waiting drinker's mouth.

Not too excited about freezing your 'nads off? There'll be $1 off Jameson Irish Whiskey inside.

This is one party where it's best not to be too fashionably late: The first 100 or so there will receive a free groundhog hat hand-sewn by Harris owner Leslie Donovan's mother.

In spirit of the season, a costumed Jack Frost will be bartending at the Harris Grill in Shadyside, while the Ice Princess will (wo)man the bar at the Shiloh on Mount Washington.

It's probably not as exciting as traveling to Gobblers Knob. But it certainly will be as cold as standing in front of the groundhog's ceremonial stump tomorrow morning at 7:20 a.m. Tonight's forecast calls for temps in the low teens, with winds at 12 miles per hour.

In other words, don't forget your mittens.
